26 Days and Counting

If there's one thing, one thing we all know about life, that was reinforced in me tonight, it is that there is perfect timing for everything. The same thought can also be reinforced by the cliche that good things come to those who wait or that patience is a virtue. I have always believed in that but there are just some instances wherein you just forget to be patient, and you want things to happen immediately (just because you want it). I can relate to this on so many levels. Tonight, I tried fighting this but ended up failing. And the level I can relate to this is probably the lowest, the shallowest ever - body modification. In my case, stretching. I tried moving up to a 6g tonight. To those of you who know the gauges, moving up to a 6g is quite a big step coming from an 8g. They're at least a millimeter different. I couldn't get them in. They were only at least, a quarter of a taper in. I'm not going to force it because I don't want a blow out. I am going to wait it out.

The two packages I've been waiting for have arrived in the mail today. I had to wait a little over 2 weeks. I waited, as if I had any other choice, and when I opened up the packages today. I was very happy with the products I ordered. I don't have a photo of them yet but I'll make sure I'll take one. Below is a picture of the 6gs I ordered from both stores.

Wait for the perfect timing. I know that when I wait, things are just going to be easier. Things will go smoother. It's the same with life. All of us can relate to that. We may be in different situations, different intensities, but one thing we have in common is a moral we all have to live by - there is perfect timing for everything. It can get boring. The wait can get boring, but guaranteed it will be worth it.
