26 Days and Counting

If there's one thing, one thing we all know about life, that was reinforced in me tonight, it is that there is perfect timing for everything. The same thought can also be reinforced by the cliche that good things come to those who wait or that patience is a virtue. I have always believed in that but there are just some instances wherein you just forget to be patient, and you want things to happen immediately (just because you want it). I can relate to this on so many levels. Tonight, I tried fighting this but ended up failing. And the level I can relate to this is probably the lowest, the shallowest ever - body modification. In my case, stretching. I tried moving up to a 6g tonight. To those of you who know the gauges, moving up to a 6g is quite a big step coming from an 8g. They're at least a millimeter different. I couldn't get them in. They were only at least, a quarter of a taper in. I'm not going to force it because I don't want a blow out. I am going to wait it out.

The two packages I've been waiting for have arrived in the mail today. I had to wait a little over 2 weeks. I waited, as if I had any other choice, and when I opened up the packages today. I was very happy with the products I ordered. I don't have a photo of them yet but I'll make sure I'll take one. Below is a picture of the 6gs I ordered from both stores.

Wait for the perfect timing. I know that when I wait, things are just going to be easier. Things will go smoother. It's the same with life. All of us can relate to that. We may be in different situations, different intensities, but one thing we have in common is a moral we all have to live by - there is perfect timing for everything. It can get boring. The wait can get boring, but guaranteed it will be worth it.

Super Stalling: Frustrations

I have a few frustrations in life that I really want to talk about right now. And you're probably gonna laugh at me but please do take these seriously. These frustrations are life threatening situations in an alternate life where everybody is all shallow and high. Dope.

1. To those of you who don't know, Tim Horton's has this roll up the rim contest. Buy a coffee, roll up the rim and you could win coffee, a $100 gift card, a 3D TV, a camera or a Camry. A CAMRY. Or you can also win nothing and read "PLEASE PLAY AGAIN" on the rim every single time. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I buy coffee or any hot drink from Timmie's like twice a day everyday and I haven't won a single thing. Not even a single coffee. It's so frustrating. It's like wasting money to get my hopes up and to burn my tongue altogether. But I got to admit, I love Timmie's and they have the best drinks (although these past couple of days they have been overdoing the sugar) A double double seems like 2 creams and 5 sugars. Check out their Facebook HERE.

2. I have been stretching my ears for like a month or two now and usually I would go on a 2-hour trek all the way to Lougheed Town Centre which is like a land far far away from Richmond and go buy tapers and plugs from Spencer's just because they're "cheaper" than the ones I can get from Canadian-brand stores. (Spencer's is an American brand and they only have two stores here in British Columbia - the other one is in Langley). But recently, I realized that it would be hell of a lot cheaper if I got my stuff online even if it means I would have to wait a month before getting them (because they're gonna be shipped from the US and I am living in the Great White North yayyy) So I get my basic stuff from Stylz (I should go do a video review on that when my 2nd package comes) and today I tried ordering from BAF (Body Art Forms). I love their wide selection of jewelry but I only need steel tubes so those were the ones I was planning on getting for now. I couldn't checkout and pay for my order. There was no button on the page that would let me do anything but edit my cart. That just ruined my momentum. I emailed them telling my problem and I will probably have to wait until Monday to get a response.

3. School. I have about 2 weeks left before school ends (although I have finals on the week of the 18th-26th) and I.... just refer to the previous post for school frustrations. XD

4. Hair. Hair. Hair. If you've known me for a while now, you should know that I love my hair and I used to say it defines me. Can't say it's true now lolol. If it were to define me now then I'd be trashy too.

5. SELF. But that's another story and possibly another super stalling entry.

WELL. So much for ranting. HEHE.
